Meet Dr. Allen
Dr. Allen is a certified specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He is a member of the Canadians Association of Orthodontists and the Ontario Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Allen graduated with honours from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1985. While in Dental School, Dr. Allen was the recipient of numerous awards including the Orthodontic undergraduate book prize, and the Alpha Omega academic achievement award.
He completed his orthodontic training at the University of Western Ontario in 1988 where he received a Master of Clinical Dentistry degree.
After graduating, Dr. Allen spent a number of years as an instructor in orthodontics at the University of Toronto while beginning his private orthodontic practice in downtown Toronto. He has been in the same location for almost 30 years and has recently had the pleasure of treating a number of his previous patients’ children. Dr. Allen enjoys spending his free time with his wife and four children, participating in fitness pursuits and helping organize and watch his children's activities.
